Leah is an Indie/Folk & Soul Singer/Songwriter. Her compositions are rawly inspired by ambient sounds, constant search for adventure and an endless strive create positive change.
Leah’s new release "Safety Second" partners her return to the U.S. after her European tour with Sofar Sounds. Leah played throughout Europe in Spain, Rome, Israel and Greece. Now settled in Salt Lake City Utah she will be recording her new project to be released in 2020.
Leah Co-founded The Wander Women Collective with Photographer Iz La Motte and Skier Anna Tadesco. The mission of The Wander Women Collective is to encourage women to engage beyond the screen through art and outdoor pursuits. Our first project occurred throughout Oregon in the summer of 2019 and will continue throughout the winter of 2020.
Leah has come a long way since her first single released October 2017. She appeared with pop star Charlie Puth in a commercial for Samsung and the Smule app. in 2017 she co-wrote and featured on up and coming D.C. artist Ace Cosgrove's single "My Fault" and NY artist Cole King's single "Dead End". Leah just released her first two singles off her new project b r i g h t e r t i d e s which are featured on air in the New York capital region. Leah will Release the full EP in the fall of 2018.
Leah and her dynamic band of 6 have played all over New York and along the East Coast consisting of pianist Jack Redsecker, guitarist Andrew Kaplan, drummer Francesco Catricala, bassist Mikey Migliore and her horn section; saxophone player Josh Nelson and trumpet player Eric Frost. Collectively the band has played at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Birdland, Rockwood, Mercury Lounge, The Bitter End, New York Couture Fashion Week and more.
The summer of 2016 Leah went on a tour with her late soul, R&B, pop group Mama and the Stops collaborating with organizations from Saratoga Springs to Virginia Beach raising over $4,500 playing in venues along the East Coast for the non-profit organizations they worked with including women’s shelters, homeless shelters and non-profit arts organizations.
Leah released her first exclusive single October 23rd, 2017 to raise awareness and funds for the water crisis happening in the world and take action through a compilation album called Melodies 4 Water All the funds raised goes to build water filtration Systems in Chiapas, Mexico.
